There was a program on bbc4 last night, where fashion photographer - Rankin, talked through his 7 all time favourite fashion photographs. He then tried to re create each one.
It was amazing. I want to be a fashion photographer!!!
Most of the originals were shot on film, and Rankin mostly shot digital. I did think the originals looked better, but only because they were side by side. If i saw Rankin's versions in a magazine i would still be like "wow!!". Every single image just punched you in the face. I want to be a fashion photographer!!! x

I really rather am terribly fond of the bottom picture, you're still real smart with a camera. hope your op went swimmingly today, at least I think it was today, you know better than I would. anyway I'm typing this with one hand which is a slow process and slower still because of this extra bit I've written here at the end...
Rankin butchered Guy Bourdin's image though.
